Peter Kenyon Ponders Chelsea Exit

Peter Kenyon is rumoured to be considering leaving Chelsea, after re-negotiating their shirt sponsorship deal.

According to The Times, Kenyon is keen to leave Stamford Bridge on a high, and having just secured an improved five-year extension to Chelsea's shirt sponsorship deal with Samsung, he might feel that the time is right to move on.

Kenyon is reported to be feeling increasingly sidelined at the club, having played little part in Carlo Ancelotti's appointment, and been on holiday when Luiz Felipe Scolari was sacked. In addition, the recent appointment of Frank Arnesen as sporting director will reduce Kenyon's input into the signing of new players.

Manchester City are rumoured to be interested in securing his services, but job offers should not be thin on the ground for Kenyon, who was at Manchester United before Chelsea.

The London club, however, are adamant that Kenyon is staying put.
